What was I into when I was a child?

Well considering from ages of about 8-11 I was the biggest tomboy in the world (I'm talking only only wearing boy clothes, boys sneakers, backwards hat and never combed my hair) You would probably mostly catch me just playing outside with my brother. I remember when I got my first pair of super cool rollerblades for Christmas. My brother got some too and suddenly we turned into hard core roller hockey players (this was when the movie Mighty Ducks came out I believe.) Eventually we had all the kids in the neighorhood playing with us. Also (probably the most girliest thing I did) I would love to pretend I was a figure skater on my rollerblades and I would make up routines to Sheryl Crows "All I wanna do" Other things I loved to do include trying to build a play house out of old wood scraps, trying to dig holes as deep as we could in the desert fields next door, we would actually spend a week just digging, telling scary stories with a group  friends, pretending we were on that nickelodeon show "are you afraid of the darl?", then we would play hide-and seek in the dark. Oh fun times..although these times were during my most awkward stages I would give anything to go back in time and spend a day in my care free roller blades!

BFF Weekend

My best friend, Lindy, just got back from her mission in New York a couple of weeks ago. While she was gone for the 18 months I got pregant and had Mia and our other best friend, Debbie, had TWINS! Debbie lives in California and Lindy came home to Utah. Lindy and I decided to have a Bff roadtrip to Cali to see Debbie and the twins and to spend hours upon hours in a car catching up on the last year and half of our lives apart. The trip was so fun and Debbies babies are adorable. I have missed my BFF's so much and it was fun to all hang out again. It is so cool because we have all been apart for years and we have never lost contact. Here are some pics from the BFF weekend!

BFF's on the couch.

Our Signature Pose- We have tons of pic like this.

Feeding Time- Lindy and Jude, Me and Mimi, Debbie and Kendra

If I could live anywhere, where would it be?

When Chris and I got married our plan was, he was going to finish school in Utah in construction management then we would move to Hawaii where he would start his career. Having kids changes everything especially when they are so expensive and Hawaii is so expensive. But still, I would love to live in Hawaii and if we had the means I would in a heart beat. It would be so fun to take the kids to the beach all of the time and to have 80 degree weather all year round and maybe I would actually get a tan for the first time in my life. Oh what I would give to be sitting on the sand watching the waves while the warm breeze blows through my hair. Instead I am forced to be staring out my bedroom window at what looks to be a blizzard.

Here you go Corby..Sorry I confused you :)

Here goes the first Question of the Day:

Well this isn't really a question but oh well it was in the jar. Describe each member of your family.
Okay I dont know whether or not to do my brother and sisters or my family now. I guess I will do both..

Mama- My mom is kind. She is fun and always happy. She is the best example in my life. She stays strong to herself and values.

Pops- He looks scary but is really kind. He is the person I go to for advice. He is my movie buddy. He loves his family more than anything.

Brother Marshall- He loves kids. The best musician I know. He can play any song and figure it out on is own because he can't read music. One time a long time ago we were watching 90210 and the theme song came on and he started playing a long with it. CRAZY!

Sister Jamie- The nicest person I know.  A great Mommy. She can sing like no other. You don't wanna be around her and I when we are really tired because we get way too silly.

Bro Keith- My best buddy growing up. He is goofy and probably the nicest guy there is. He is sweet and thoughtful. We can always have a great time together. And he plays the drums great!

Sister Kelsey- The little baby of the family. She is fun and stylish. She is boy crazy. Her favorite movie is A Walk to Remember, I know because she LITERALLY watched it once or twice a day everyday for about a year. She loves music and singing. She loves her family.

My Chris- He is the best daddy in the world. He gave me cute kids thanks to him being Asian. He will do anything to make me happy. He hates pickles and he LOVES fried rice. He is the most random person I have ever met but I love it.

Ezekiel- Oh my crazy Zeke. He is so sweet but such a little rascal at the same time. He keeps me on my toes and gives me my daily exercise. He loves Blues Clues and Finding Nemo. he loves to brush his teeth but absolutley hate to wash his face. He absolutely adores his little sister and is so gentle and kind to her.

Mia-  My sweet little Mimi. She is such a happy little baby and loves to smile. She sucks her thumb and it is so adorable. She loves Ezekiel and smiles from ear to ear everytime she see's him. Her cheeks are so big I just have to pinch them all the time.

This is my family..I love them all so much!

Here starts A Question a Day!

I was going through some old boxes a couple of months ago and I found a little mason jar that my mom had decorated. In the jar there are tons of little strips of paper with questions on them that you are suppose to answer in your journal. My mom gave this to me along with a journal when I was about twelve and I have probably used it twice since then (sorry mom). So I decided that it would be fun to answer a question a day on here. At least I will try to answer a question a day, but don't be suprised if it becomes a question a week.
