aaaw how refreshing..

It was a long week..Chris worked all different hours which gets our daily routine out of whack. Ezekiel is going through a phase where he like to punch mimi...and it is stressing me out. I am so afraid he is going to hurt her. I know you are probably think I am being over protective of my little baby girl, but no, he actually socks her, kicks her hard, pushes her down on the tile floor and I even caught him dragging her by her legs. I don't think he is intentionally trying to be vicious, he doesn't know his own strength and he is having a hard time figuring out what to do with his emotions. So when he gets mad at me he hits, if he gets embarrassed he hits, if he is trying to have fun he hits..This all goes back to the 100% boy blog I posted. So anyways after a particular long week of time outs, potty training (which isn't going well, if your wondering) and everything else that comes with being a mom, he went and spent last night at Chris' parents house and spent today with them. Chris worked at 7 a.m. this morning so you could say I was kind of relieved to have all the testosterone out of the house for a day.

The day started out great, Mia let me sleep in till 9 am which was amazing. I lazed around watching t.v. for awhile. Then Mia took a nap as I got ready. I got to watch a movie, eat lunch, scrapbooked a little, read some of the book I'm reading re-do my blog and even got a nap in. It was so refreshing and a much needed break before I start a new week of the same thing. Thank goodness for grandparents! I missed him so much and was so glad to give him a big hug and kiss when he came home, but we all need a break once and a while right? Some more than other's :)

Family

Here are a few cute pictures we took at my in-laws.

Meet my new best friend

Sorry if the pic of the meat grosses anyone out. But here is my new favorite appliance. I like to buy meat in bulk..It is so much easier to just freeze it and defrost it as I need it. My mother-in-law gave me this sealer for Christmas and I used it for the first time today. I don't know why it took me so long to use it. I guess I hate reading directions for appliances. I try to skim over it fast then I don't understand it. So I have been waiting for Chris to figure it out and show me. I am much more of a visual kind of person anyways. It is so easy. It vacuums out the air and seals it for you. I love it and now my meat won't get freezer burned. Now instead of only buying ground beef in bulk I am going to start buying Chicken and pork chops in bulk too. Now if I can only remember to take the meat out of the freezer to defrost in time for a meal.

Thankful

Here's some pictures I took the other day. Chris love's his little girl so much. I am so lucky to have a husband that is such a kind and loving daddy. I don't even think he knew how much having kids would affect him and how much love he would have for them. I am thankful to have him in my life.
